The only captain New York City FC has ever known will be moving on from the club. David Villa's time in New York City is over, the club announced Wednesday.

Villa, who turns 37 next week, will leave the team at the end of his contract on December 31, 2018. He scored 77 goals and added 26 assists in 117 regular season appearances with NYCFC. His 77 goals in the timeframe are more than anyone in MLS except Bradley Wright-Phillips.

Their song Regulators is friggin' amazing and really holds up. Another thing that I was really into, (and still am), is The Muppets. One of my favorites was Ernie and Bert. The sexually ambiguous pair has been entertaining audiences for decades. The joyful Ernie and the uptight Bert are a classic duo.
